Do I have to give my address when signing up for my account?

We ask for your address so people viewing your profile can ship a gift directly to you. You do not have to give your address to make a profile. You can always add the shipping address at a later time.

How do I give people access to my profile for an upcoming event?

On the edit profile page at the top you open up sharing by clicking the sharing button.You now see a link. Use this link to share your profile with anyone you choose. There is also a QR code to print on birthday invivitations or other printed material.

How do I add an item to the wish List?

You go to the retail company’s website and find the item you would like to add. Click copy link. Paste the link to the space provided in the wish list area in your profile. Usually this is all you have to do. At times, however because we are still in the beginning of our life as a business some features work more consistently than others. It is a problem we are working on. If your item does not pull all of the information automatically you will have to fill in the price and item name, and copy and paste the picture. We are hoping this feature will be working smoothly soon. We thank you for your patience while we work some of the more tricky bugs out.

What do I put in the about area of the profile?

This is where you introduce the person in the profile and tell givers all about them. Do they have a strong personality? Do they have any allergies givers should take note of? Do they have any personality quirks that make them unique and would give people an idea of a gift direction? This is where you go on a bit about this person, even if the person is you.
